Reason # 44... The dress. I am always looking for new ways to capture our brides and their bridal dress. For this one, I shot low to capture the details of the church, as well as, the dress. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Loveland!

May 12th, 2007
Reason # 43... Creativity. For the Smigiel wedding, it was a slow constant rain for most of the day. Most all shots outside were done in 5-10 minutes. Toward the end of the day, the rain stopped long enough to capture this moment that tells the story about their day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smigiel!

Apr. 21st, 2007
Reason # 42... Large parties. For the Howard wedding, they had 12 groomsmen, and 12 bridesmaids. It was the largest bridal party that we every photographed. For parties this large you need two photographers with the experience to handle them. For this shot we brought our bride out to have some fun with the guys. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Howard!

Feb. 17th, 2007
Reason # 41... First kiss. More and more churches are requesting that photographers don't use flash during the wedding ceremony. So one of the first questions we get asked is if we have have a problem shooting in those conditions. From the first shoe, to the first kiss, to the last dance, everything is captured beautifully with Hunts Photography. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Tuggle!

Dec. 31st, 2006
Reason # 40... Safe with us. When I saw the safe door open at a reception site called The Vault I knew we had to get a shot there. So with the safe door in the background, she grabbed her husband and pulled him in close. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Balentine!

Dec. 2nd, 2006
Reason # 39... Special Locations. For this shot I really scouted out a cool location. During the reception at the Greek Orthodox Church, I was able to get us into the sanctuary for some more shots. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Madison!

November 25th, 2006
Reason # 38... Photojournalism. My idea of a photojournalistic shot is one that tells the entire story for the day. Everything from the church window in the background to the expression their faces was captured to tell their story. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Wymer!

November 4th, 2006
Reason # 37... Sepia toned. This was an overview shot of the pastor beginning the service with a slight twist. Processed for sepia toning, and gave it a slight vignette to highlight our wedding party in the center. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Williamson!

October 14th, 2006
Reason # 34... The backdrop. For this shot, our bride didn't want to go with our standard background so we went high fashion. We used a white background and blew it out for that high key effect. Great picture, great smile! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lang!

September 29th, 2006
Reason # 34... 1st Dance. Your first dance as husband and wife doesn't deserve any interuptions. We stay out of the way and approach it with a photojournalistic approach. We want to catch those special glances you share so you can treasure them forever. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Goldammer!

September 23rd, 2006
Reason # 34... Rainy days. Not every wedding has sunny skies, and perfect breezes. For the Deweese wedding it poured down. All of our shots were limited to inside where we came up with some romantic poses. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. DeWeese!

September 2nd, 2006
Reason # 33... Focused on you. From the first meeting to the last "Congratulations" of the night you will see that we are completely focused on you. We want your day to be more special than you could have ever pictured and we are committed to making that happen. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Keadey!

August 19th, 2006
Reason # 32... The locations. Unlimited locations! On your wedding day, We will go where ever you want. For this wedding, the church was in south Worthington, so we drove down to the Park of Roses after the ceremony and then back up to just north of Worthington for the reception. day. Congratulations Danny and Vanessa!

August 12th, 2006
Reason # 31... The Details. With two photographers working for you, every detail is captured completely telling the story of your special day. For this shot we were waiting for our bride and groom to make their "bubble exit." Quickly organized all the bridesmaids to capture the dresses, the colors, and the flowers of their day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Koenig!

August 5th, 2006
Reason # 30... Realize a dream. For many of our couples the wedding day seems like a dream that will just never arrive. When it finally comes you'll be glad you have Hunt's Photography there capturing every moment. Congratulations Ben and Angel!

July 22nd, 2006
Reason # 28... Quiet time. For this shot we worked in a silhouette with a beautiful sky. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Stage!

July 15th, 2006
Reason # 28... New locations! We love going to new locations because every location gives you something to work with. For this shot at the Columbus Museum of Art we worked with the entrance and the giant pillars. Another great picture!! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Foster!

July 8th, 2006
Reason # 26... The roses. In my type of photography, I let the couple and the location inspire certain shots. The Summers had some of the brightest red roses I had ever seen so I wanted to capture those and also tell the story of their day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Summers! July 1st, 2006
Reason # 25... The endless locations. For the Conley wedding, the couple had a list of places to visit after the ceremoy. First we went to a small bridge as the guests left. We then went to the Horseshoe, and had thoughts of going to Mirror Lake. We then went Downtown prior to their reception at the Athletic Club. We will never limit you to the locations you want to go, and there is never an additional charge. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Conley!

June 30th, 2006
Reason # 24... The first kiss. Your first kiss as husband and wife is probably the most important kiss of your life. It seals the bond, and commitment you just made to each other. I love to get in close for this special moment. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Ireland!

June 24th, 2006
Reason # 23... Silhouetting. We are continually looking around for different locations to make a great photograph. For this shot at the Jessing Center, moved our couple in front of the window for a great back lit shot. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Corum!

June 17th, 2006
Reason # 22... Digital Editing. Unlike a lot of photographers, we don't charge extra for digital editing. For this shot we positioned our couple in front of the limo. Gave the background a little tweak to make it look more a like a dream. So like your wedding day, Hunt's Photography is a dream come true. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kelly!

June 16th, 2006
Reason # 21... We give you support. From the first meeting to the last photograph we are here to help your day go as smoothly as possible. For this shot, Chris was providing all of the support. As the Stanley's were heading out of the church to the limo we captured this great moment. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Stanley!

June 10th, 2006
Reason # 20... You'll pick us. For the Cothern wedding we had to wait until we got to the reception for this shot. We snuck out of the party, fired off 5-10 poses around the gazebo and went back into the party. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Cothern!

May 28th, 2006
Reason # 19... Special Moments. For the Tedesco Wedding they decided to get most of their pictures done before the ceremony. We arranged for them to have their first meeting in a gazebo outside. Congrats Tedesco's!

May 27th, 2006
Reason # 18... We help you get some alone time. For this shot, the Kaliszewski's wanted a large family portrait on the stairs of the reception site but the family wasn't moving too quickly. So while we were waiting for everyone to come out, we set up this shot. Congrats Tony and Cori!!

May 20th, 2006
Reason # 14... Photojournalistic style. At the reception, a cousin of the bride came out and sang two beautiful songs, and the audience was floored. We all felt like we frontrow for American Idol! I quickly moved around the room to capture our bride and groom's reaction to the serenade. Congratulations Chris and Cheri!

May 19th, 2006
Reason # 13... Free digital retouching. For this shot we moved out a little bit to capture the entire wedding party. I then colored the bride and groom back in to draw your focus towards them. Special effects such as this one are included at no additional charge. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Pullins!

May 13th, 2006
Reason # 12... We play in the rain. For the Dooley's wedding it rained most of the day. Not really a downpour but just enough that you didn't want to go out in it. At the end of the night the rain stopped long enough for us to grab this shot. Congratulations Mr and Mrs. Caleb Dooley!

May 6th, 2006
Reason # 11... We can fly. I love to look for different angles and different ways to look at people. For this shot I moved to an upper balcony and captured our bride just prior to walking down the aisle. This was just minutes prior to her starting her lifetime as Mrs McNeely. Congratulations McNeelys!!!

April 8th, 2006
I have this new idea for the picture of the week. I want to show you what makes us different than other photographers. For this shoot, the bride and groom didn't have a whole lot of time or a nice place to stop from the wedding to the reception. We did a little research on the area, and drove around prior to the wedding. We ended up finding a couple who lived right down the road, and their yard was landscaped beautifully. Nice bridge, and a stairway to a lake made for a great photoshoot. Congrats Russ and Aimee!

April 1st, 2006
The picture of the week this week was tough! There were about five pictures in the running and ultmately we chose this one. The ringerbearer and flower girl are two of the unsung heros of your wedding day. Usually at the age of 4 or 5 they are asked to walk down an aisle that feels like a mile long with only knowing a handful of faces in the crowd. They are the last attempt at stealing the show before the bride walks down the aisle. Our ringbearer and flower girl handled it like seasoned professionals.

Mar. 18th, 2006
I love this picture for a couple of reasons. First, Elaine makes it look like it is 90 degree hot summer day when actually it was 40 degrees with wind gusts of 15mph which made it feel like 20 degrees. To say it was cold would be an understatement. Second, she let her personality come out in the pictures. Great smile, and looks like she is having a great time when she is actually have frozen. :) Congratulations Ben and Elaine!

Feb. 11th, 2006
I didn't even have my first camera yet by the time Gene and Bev first said their "I Do's" but I surely had it for the 25 year anniversary. Grabbed a fisheye lens to capture the entire wedding party, the sign, and the overall feel of the church. Congratulations Gene and Bev on 25 years!

Dec. 31st, 2005
For this wedding we combined two images. An image of the front of the church combined with a shot of the couple exchanging their wedding vows. Congratulations McPhersons!

Nov. 12th, 2005
For the first time, I am split on the picture of the week. Valerie and I each love this picture. The flowers seem to jump out of the picture at you. Turned the image black and white and then hand colored the flowers back in for a great looking picture. Congratulations Jay and Jessa!

Nov. 12th, 2005
Every wedding is a little different than the one before it. Jay and Jessa exited the church holding white pigeons. They released their pigeons, and then about two dozen more white pigeons were released. It was the most unique exit celebration ever. Another awesome image. Congratulations again Jay and Jessa!

Oct. 24th, 2005
For this shot we moved back inside the studio to warm up a bit. Pulled down the black background to completely focus on our couple. Turned the image black and white and added some soft focus. The result.... a great looking image. Congratulations Sean and Stephanie

Oct. 22nd, 2005
For this shoot with Tony and Cori we went out to a Gahanna park to catch some fall colors. As we were walking the trails this shot came to my mind. Really cute pose that resulted in a great engagement portrait. Congratulations Tony and Cori

Oct. 15th, 2005
Location, location, location. For our engagement shoots you can pick up to two locations, and Holly really did her homework. She picked out a lot of great locations for their portraits, and she has already picked out a location for their wedding pictures. I can't wait, they are going to be awesome! Congratulations Caleb and Holly

Sept. 23rd, 2005
This wedding was shot at the Park of Roses. I picked this as my favorite because it reminds me of the days when you first start dating. You could be in the most beautiful location but it doesn't matter because you are with the person you love and they are all that you see. A little deep, I know. Congratulations Joe and Lea

Sept. 17th, 2005
Once we finish all of the formal church shots, there is usually some free time before our brides walk down the aisle. For the Cordts wedding, we were able to use this time for a few shots on one of our backdrops. We hand colored in Jenny's roses, as well as, the rose petals from the flower girls baskets. Congratulations Mike and Jenny

Sept. 3rd, 2005
I picked this picture as my favorite for two reasons. First, this celebrates their wedding vows 6 years in the making. Secondly, this was shot in a Catholic church. For those considering a Catholic wedding, Catholic priests are very particular about the ceremony of marriage. The father of this church didn't allow flash photography, or for me to be within 50 feet of the couple exchanging their vows. Given those two conditions, I think this photo turned out beautifully! Congrats Heath and Krisztina

August 27th, 2005
For this shot we moved back into the house where they said their vows. The house was empty, the guests were outside in the reception area, and the lights were out…Perfect time for a silhouette! Congrats Chris and Danixa

August 18th, 2005
Valerie and I had a tough time deciding on a picture of the week for John and Michelle. Ultimately we decided on this picture. We turned the image black and white, and hand colored in Michelle's bouquet.

August 9th, 2005
This was a truly sweet moment between Megan and Chris. Check out Megan's infectous smile. I can't help but look at this picture and smile myself.

July 25th, 2005
For the Albright wedding we were able to go back to the college they attended and take full use of the campus. For this image we captured the entire wedding party as well as the limo they used for their transportation. Congratulations Scott and Nicole.
